Compared with contact dispensing, jet dispensing has the advantages of high dispensing accuracy, fast speed, and freedom from space constraints. It provides high-speed, high-quality and low-cost fluid dispensing technology for the field of microelectronic packaging. Jet dispensing technology represents the development trend of fluid dispensing technology and is bound to be more widely used in the future.

Richeng Precision Instruments has proposed a jet-type dispensing valve that uses piezoelectric ceramics as the driving source. The dispensing valve is mainly composed of a piezoelectric stack and a lever-type micro-displacement amplification mechanism. The dispensing valve has been systematically studied.

First, the basic knowledge of piezoelectric materials and piezoelectric stacks is introduced. The displacement characteristics and stiffness characteristics of the PST150/5/100 piezoelectric stack are tested. The piezoelectric stack is modeled from the electrical point of view.

After introducing the structure and working principle of the piezoelectric jet dispensing valve in detail, the flow characteristics of the glue are analyzed, the jet model is established, and the conditions for the glue to be sprayed are explored; the glue flow field at the nozzle is simulated to obtain the valve The influence of rod displacement, glue viscosity and driving pressure on spray dispensing; the key component of the dispensing valve lever-type micro-displacement magnifying mechanism is analyzed in detail, and the magnification, input stiffness and output stiffness of the mechanism are obtained. Relationship. And the dynamic model of the jet dispensing valve is established, and the dynamic model is analyzed by MATLAB and ANSYS software.

Next, according to the requirements of the dispensing process in the field of microelectronics packaging, a spray dispensing prototype was produced. The dispensing prototype includes a piezoelectric spray dispensing valve, a three-dimensional motion platform, a constant pressure air supply system, a piezoelectric ceramic drive power supply, Control System. The design ideas and implementation methods of each component of the jet dispenser are described in detail, and the assembly and debugging of the entire jet dispenser is completed.

A large number of experimental tests were carried out on the dispensing prototype, which tested the displacement characteristics of the valve stem, the dispensing speed of the jet dispensing valve, the dispensing accuracy and the consistency of the dispensing point.

The test found that the maximum dispensing speed of the dispenser can reach 277 points per second, and the minimum dispensing volume is 0.94ul
